Ok, not normally a lurker on this board an am probably never going to return after this, but I'm almost offended by the lack of biology knowledge here. For one thing, egg laying creatures do still get pregnant. The egg doesn't spontaneously develop, it takes some time to form. The principal reason you don't see obviously pregnant lizards and birds is that their eggs are comparatively smaller than mammalian offspring, and even then it can still be noticeable. Being that Pokemon seem to hatch at a size more comparable to mamalian newborns than, say, newly hatched amphibians means that, depending on the species, if is highly likely that some would present as obviously pregnant before laying.
> tl;dr pregnant Pokémon works.
ain't gotta explain shit
Pregnant pokemon do work, but pokemon doing live birthing when its common knowledge they lay eggs is where things go wrong.
Oh really, common knowledge eh?
I believe the phrase is "Your Pokemon was holding an egg. We don't know how it got there, but your Pokemon was holding it."
Hell, for all we know, the egg forms like a cocoon around a baby pokemon after it's born. It would hardly be the weirdest thing they do.
Interestingly, there is an older man on a bench in Courmarine City (in Kalos) who says that the eggs are not actually eggs, but rather "cradles". Pokemon are also shown to just "evolve" from the eggs on the show.>>879
My headcanon is pretty much the same as yours.
Okay, sure lets have a pokemon born, which would make it level 1 and battle ready, then encase it in an egg that requires the trainer to spend time walking around to hatch. And just because they don't know how it got there, which could just mean they never watched the birthing of the egg or are completely dense, doesn't mean its not how things happen. Its been stated in the show and anime that pokemon lay eggs, heck even the games have the professors mention that pokemon lay eggs.
Let's give you another one! Kuro the Lucario, very pregnant, and looking like she missed her due date by about a week. You can find it both here - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15927045/
- and here - https://www.weasyl.com/submission/872779/lucari-ow
- with links to the original artist included. Those're the "with aura," versions!
NEXT, Zangoose! Also by Geckomania, this one appears to have trouble getting back up onto two feet. You can find it here - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14823842/
- and here - https://www.weasyl.com/submission/759707/posing-zangoose
Also, if anyone has any questions about these Poké-parents I'm spamming you all with, feel free to send them my way!
Okay, time to give you… Andy, the Umbreon! I never settled on a sex for this one, and that's intentional, so just imagine they're whichever you prefer. I have a few sketches of this beautiful 'mon for you, so let's start with… a relaxed, reclined pose. The artist is Mehndi, who you can find linked on the FA and Weasyl submissions.
Second pose, as viewed from behind! A little lewd? Yes. Does that make it better? HELL yes.
Third and last pose of the Mehndi sketches, here we have Andy strutting their stuff. Someone's apparently very much aware of how DAMN good they look~
Another Andy, back with Geckomania this time (hope I'm not flooding this thread, by the way, I just have a lot to give on the subject matter). Big litter, big contraction, big show. Am I weird? Is this weird? Hell yes.
I don't mind you flooding the thread if its with good content, so you are good. :)
Can never have enough preggy pokemon of all kinds.
Glad to see that you are still keeping this thread relevant with your cute little Umbreon.
Didn't the Sinnoh games point out that no one has seen a Pokemon lay eggs?
I don't care. It was just something fabricated just to avoid the parents that point out pregnancy in children's content as evil.
that is really cute. great little gif.
Hello fellow preggy Pokémon artists~ I apologize if this is an incorrect place to ask this, but who here is interested in doing commissions or requests of pregnant Pokémon, or know someone that takes them? If anyone is interested, please reply back and I will share my contact info~ Thanks…!
I've been known to draw some, here or there ;D I'm DashRaptor on FA, and kirbygod on DA, if you've got accounts on either :) Was just contemplating opening up commissions anyway, so I could probably slot you right in ^_^ Just toss me a note on one of those sites.
Oh hey, an Andy pic I'd forgotten to submit… whoopsie!
Realized I might have accidentally buried my comment xD Sorry 'bout that. If you'd like a pokemon pic, I'm open to discussion! DashRaptor on FA, kirbygod on DA, or we can message another way if you'd like :)
He actually removed that one? That was one of my most favorite ones.
He has a habit of doing that, unfortunately. Only seems to be with his niche ones for the most part.
The only one I'm disappointed with being unable to re-locate is the one where he did his anthro Mightyena in a sort of progression through pregnancy with an odd sort of parables dictating how much she actually progressed.
I think it was around for about a month before it up and vanished once she finally reached full-term and birthed (off camera). Never saw it again after that. Much regrets are still had after all this time.
You, sir, have won the internets for today.
The only real issue I'm personally having is the need for his Flash Viewer to view most of the oldies. Kiiiinda wish there were a way to crack that little problem so I can view the files at a larger size..
This isn't much of a consolation, but here's an oldie I had stored away that hasn't exactly seen the light of day for some time. Kindof a personal fave of mine from way back when.
Oh, wow, suddenly it's 2004 or so and, unable to resist the curiosity anymore, I'm doing a search for "pregnant furry art" and I'm seeing a gallery with that in it and the snowball got a-rollin'…
I'm back with another, people!
EVERYBODY loves Lucario, that terrible furry fan bait… so do I, apparently. Oh well! Here's Kuro the Lucario in all her glory… her… expanding glory. Oh dear. Looks like she enjoys it at first, but damn if she doesn't get frustrated with it eventually. This is over a decently long pregnancy, not a short period of time, just for the record.
Yeah, we know Egg laying in the games is for gameplay reasons 1 and keeping it kid-approriate second. In almost all fanfics I've seen involving Pokemon breeding the Pokemon get pregnant instead of laying eggs with a few obvious exceptions.
Pregnant Pokemon would definitely be trickier to program in the games though it would be nice if they at least acknowledge pokemon becoming pregnant is definitely possible: THere's babies in Sinnoh (Diamond, Pearl and Platinum), a pregnant trainer in Unova (Black 2/White 2 if you're playing as the Male Trainer) and various people talking about the next generation in Kalos (X and Y).
Fanfics don't determine the canon of the series. Its been done officially that all pokemon come from eggs, there for its official. Yes, there might be babies and pregnant humans, bit hard to put humans in and go "Oh by the way they now breed via eggs". The talk of a next generation is because each new region and set of pokemon in the games/shows is called a Generation. Currently there is six, the next would be seven. Pregnant pokemon wouldn't be harder to program, in fact they could be done exactly the same only instead of collecting an egg from the daycare you'd collect a new born pokemon. However its been set that the lore of the pokemon universe is egg-laying creatures.
I happen to have it saved from his DA before he had his site with the proprietary player nonsense. https://www.mediafire.com/?67gipsxpa7asbag
Out of his older stuff it's definitely one of my favourites too, there are rarely breathing motions in any of his newer stuff, even if they're a little overactive here.
I love Doom's work and I've been following him since he started pumping out his animations in 2008 but man do I feel sorry for the guy.
Have you read the comments he gets on his animations or just in general? Imagine getting that 24/7 for 7 years. I can understand why he removes certain things every now and again, his "fans" must drive him fucking mental sometimes. I remember this animation specifically 9/10 comments he got were autists screaming about how latios could not be female.
File: 1449438378472.jpg (Spoiler Image, 116.41 KB, 1280x1054, Preg Milotic Loving Her Tr….jpg)
Not sure if it fits in this thread, but I found this pic about a few years back about a Milotic getting really close to her Trainer.
Checked NSFL 'cause it involves Poké-Beastiality.
Uhh…What's up with this "This file has been stolen by : localhost" crap I keep getting when trying to play certain animations? Does it have something to do with Windows 8? 'Cause I don't know how to fix it. T_T
looks good, but might be worth thickening up them legs, they look out of scale
The legs do look a little wonky, but aside from that, great pic! Would love to see more like it. :)
She looks just like the Pokémon. Right down to the skinny legs. lol I've watched the anime and I can saw their accurate to the species. I'm not a professional artist. But your art is awesome on its own. ;)
Thank you very much. What kind of birth scenarios involving Gardewaifu do you want to see?
Her legs are not THAT thin though as they are a tad thicker (as seen here: http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/6/6d/Diantha_Gardevoir.png
I think it's more the lack of apparent hips than the legs themselves.
Prefer this one to the first! If anything because the first one looked like she literally had stick-figure legs :P
Much better! I really like this one! <3
So amazing! Even better when taking your description into consideration ^.^
Well, I was going to suggest her laying on her back asking for belly rubs (with the bigger belly), but that would be too similar to the image that you have posted here. I am sure, however, that whatever you make will end up adorable.
>>1653>I am sure, however, that whatever you make will end up adorable.
Are we talking about the same person who made that pic considering his usual content?
I just thought that that Umbreon looked cute and figured that any other images of her would be just as adorable.
>>1684>and figured that any other images of her would be just as adorable.
That pic was probably the most pleasant thing that artist ever made, you have seen the height you don't need to crawl through the garbage.
While I'd argue that a significant portion (although less than half) of my art is considered "pleasant" by most, I'm unfortunately inclined to agree that most people here won't enjoy my other art, so I'll say that you'll just have to wait for me to post something else here if you want more similar preg stuff from me. That's mostly because pregnancy isn't my primary focus, though.
There's a reason I haven't posted anything here until now. Apologies to Koiman or any others that hoped to find art similar to that umbreon. That being said, though, I wouldn't be asking for ideas here if I didn't intend to produce something that I think Pregchan would like, so rest assured that the next drawing with the umbreon (which I intend to post here) won't be like what you're talking about.
I've already made a decent amount of progress on the continuation of the last image, so I'll try to make up for the text post with finishing that soon and showing it here.
>>1689>Admits most of what he makes is not like the content he posted.>Admits most of what he makes most people won't like here or anywhere else.>Is already "apologizing" to people who like the one off content he posted about how most of his content is not like what he posted.>Is still going to make a one maybe two off picture that once again is not by the remotest stretches of the imagination like most of his content, (though you can bet your ass it'll end like 99% of his content).
For both yours and the sakes of everyone here you need to gtfo.
If anybody else has a problem with an artist asking what people want to see drawn and drawing it, they can go ahead and say so. Otherwise, a lone individual isn't stopping me from trying to be generous to others by putting a few hours into making something for them.
In your own words, "for the sakes of everyone," I won't continue the conversation any further. This site is for sharing art, which I intend to do, rather than arguing about unrelated matters and getting in the way of people that want to see said art.
>>1718>If anybody else has a problem with an artist asking what people want to see drawn and drawing it, they can go ahead and say so.
Count how many posts this board has and how much they have gone up in the amount of time we've been talking and you will realize something amazing.
>Otherwise, a lone individual isn't stopping me from trying to be generous to others by putting a few hours into making something for them.
Great you are making one or two pictures that cater to the site/thread/etc., however when people go to look up who made that "adorable" (remember that person you already "apologized" to?) picture and they find YOUR usual content don't be surprised if you get a bunch of angry people on your "doorstep" so to speak.
Hell I've seen it here and over on infchan with your fellow fetishists who are apparently dead from the neck up be stunned that a thread that was not for your kind of content railed against them when they posted pics that are even so much as part of a series depicting said content or the artist regularly makes the kind of stuff you do.
>rather than arguing about unrelated matters
Considering I'm discussing your usual content and what you are making here being two completely different things is the issue and it's hardly unrelated.
Trust me, I am not easily disgusted. Besides, I am not too fussed about how "bad" Somnax's(?) other artwork may be because this thread is about pregnant pocket monsters, therefore making that other stuff irrelevant. So quit attacking them and enjoy what is here.
That's fine I'm just trying to make visible what his usual content is/not going to his page expecting what's here and getting a very bad shock.
Also I'm asking if him doing this is wise considering the aforementioned difference in his usual content from what's here.
I feel like this could have gone better if you spelt that out a bit more clearly - I may have just been missing it, but I wasn't getting the idea that this was about people looking for my other art elsewhere. Thanks for explaining your concerns, then, and I see what you're talking about.
I won't pretend you're not making a valid point. But I'm hardly worried about people reacting negatively to my "unpleasant" art where it's posted (as I've really expected more reactions like that than I've seen; it wouldn't have surprised me, and I wouldn't mind it), so the only real issue would be the viewers being subjected to it when they come across it after seeing what I've posted in other places, such as this board.
I don't feel that they're going to be particularly scarred by seeing the gallery of a single person with content they don't like, though, and there's no reason for them to look at it in detail, especially once they realize that this pregnancy art isn't the majority of what I put out. I don't expect this to be causing anybody more trouble than some simple disappointment of not finding more pregnancy art, considering how just about anybody looking through furry stuff will stumble upon things they don't want to see every now and then. I sure have, at least, so I'd imagine it's kind of expected (not that expecting it makes it much more unpleasant to see, but you get used to looking away).
I've seen what you've talked about on the other Chan, though, so maybe I should've been less surprised by someone responding unfavourably here. I do wish it wasn't like that, for the sakes of both the artists and the people that want to enjoy their more tasteful art unimpeded, but wishing won't do anybody much good.
As for whether it really is a good idea for me to post here or not, it may just be me being unnecessarily idealistic, but I expect that people can enjoy what I make without making a fuss about what an artist draws with unrelated subject matter. But as I mentioned, I'm really not concerned for myself when it comes to people looking at my other art (so long as they don't bring it into unrelated places, such as here), and I don't think I'm posing any more threat to the people that don't want to see my other art than the possibility of thinking "ew" and deciding not to look at anything else of mine. I suppose I'm underestimating the capacity for people to dislike random things they find online, though.
But in short, I don't see it causing problems for me or others.
I still maintain that this is irrelevant for the reasons Koiman pointed out, but no ill will, at least. I understand your concerns, but I want to take the chance to give people something they'll enjoy when I'm able.
I'm not even a furfag and that pic made me HNNNNNNG
There used to be a pic, I think I found it on inflatechan, of a really pregnant sylveon getting the it's belly rubbed, and another eeveelution (don't remember which) looking sad in the background. Anyone have it?
If I wrote a Gallade mpreg birth fic would you read it?
Anal birth, taint birth, or a penis birth?
Penis birth would be my personal preference.
File: 1468639413537.jpg (Spoiler Image, 793.98 KB, 3212x2444, gallade birthing0001.jpg)
I made a quick drawing of Gallade giving birth. Spoilered because, well, mpreg.
Ooh, I love her expression. Nice work!
Would love a translation for the kanji.
It just says
Dildo for Field egg group
Rapidash type, XL size
Much appreciated, thanks.
Looks more like it would be an xxxxl with it's size. Rapidash aren't that big, are they?
lots of good stuff here, i'd post it myself, but I'm lazy
That Eevee looks so full
If there's one thing my fetish told me, it should be a criminal offence to not add bellies on Primarina
It's just wrong that this pokemon only has a 12% to be female.
I understand that that gender ratio is meant to make breeding starters harder, but it really seems silly when one considers that Ditto is found in Johto's Route 34: the same place where the daycare is found–pretty much making the gender ratio more of an annoyance to those who IV breed Pokemon (like myself).
THAT'S NOT HOW YOU GET SOMEBODY UNSTUCK
Please. Never stop making things. Multiple instances of improvement on this one. Lines are much more fine and consistent and the physique is great!
Is there any other pokemon you could draw? Like Tsareena and her Bounsweet?
Eh not sure
But I made a Weavile though.
Hot facial expression.
I love this one.
You owe your friend!
Needs more Primarina
File: 1483503597220.jpg (Spoiler Image, 334.2 KB, 1831x1793, gallade birthing his ralts….jpg)
I made a pregnant Gallade giving birth. Spoilered because Mpreg.
Eh, most of them don't have birth anyway.
And we'll probably never get one of these again now that they've moved to Patreon
You can't kill a preg god
oops, didn't realize these were already posted, by myself even…>>3927>>3929>>3931
didn't have cookies on, so i can't delete them
But what makes the Pichus evolve into Pikachus?
She was made in a lab, she was the only successful experiment of combining Pokemon and human DNA, as a result, some changes were made to her genetic coding, one being her producing Pikachus instead of Pichus, besides, Pichu's practically worthless
Them's fighting words. Draw your sword, knave, and prepare to defend your words in the realm of written combat!
That's absolutely adorable. Thanks for the warm feels from a cool pokemon
Thank you. I try my best (usually).
Here's a late piece for Mayterinity. This time, it's a fan piece for Maneki-Neko of the late Pregfur.org or China-Kitty of FA and her pregnant "Pokémon" art, which the artist very much admired before Pregfur.org folded late 2016…
Here, we have the pride of her collection, a pregnant Machoke, in full attire, which certainly fits well over her child-filled womb (thank the heavens for lycra), along with the trademark belt her kind wears.
It's just a shame that no real female Machokes were ever seen in the TV series, so we can only guess what a female's attire might look like, but I guess the creators thought it might be too sexy for a children's show - even though many anime teenaged heroines, like the Sailor Scouts and the Mew-Mews wear rather skimpy outfits already (in my mother's opinion)…
Here's another piece of late Mayterinity works. This time, it's another fan piece for Maneki-Neko of the late Pregfur.org or China-Kitty of FA and her pregnant "Pokémon art", which I very much admired before Pregfur.org folded late 2016…
This time, it's her anthro Flareon from here; http://www.furaffinity.net/view/423786/
(this link is for ages 15+) but dressed in the robes of a Buddhist/Tibetan Monk. The artist's story goes that she was already pregnant (early stages) when she came across the monastery, and taken in.
There, she's happy and safe, but still in self-doubt about whether or not she's seen as a rule-breaker, as monk's aren't really supposed to have families, or not since she's a visitor but insists on dressing in their apparel.
However, she soon finds out that she'll rise up to an important role in the monastery after her baby is born….
Mr Fatty-Preggo from DA gave an excellent job to making Meirai massive
This year's labor is gonna be quite the show for spectators
Just be careful not to get too close, she generates 5 cities worth of electricity when things get though
>link is for ages 15+
Dude do you know where you are?
It's a shame this thread isn't that popular anymore
I actually happen to have some very old pictures saved online such as niclord's old pregnant pokemon. I think I'll upload some of them.
Do you have more pictures like this? :)
as an ode to doom_the_wolf, who just quit deviatart, here's a link/picture to his channel. He made a metric tonne of pregnant pokemon interactive animations.
also, the second link/picture is his aquaintence barn flakes. He also has a couple interactive pregnant pokemon projectshttp://doom-the-wolf.deviantart.com/gallery/5569771/Flashhttp://barn-flakes.deviantart.com/gallery/28802315/Interactive-Expansions
Good god that was quick. Never underestimate r34 and fetish artists, I guess.
This looks like stuffing
Its pregnancy. She just hasnt hit full capacity yet
Truer words have never been spoken
