Ideas for Pregnant Episodes or Movies Bun-In-The-Ovenonymous 06/25/2022 (Sat) 03:57:57 Id:3b1a8e No. 70
This is for those who have an idea for a pregnancy themed episode or arc for pre-existing television show or movie. Live-action or animation. This is basically fan-fiction, but I think it would be nice to see ideas for what could have been or what could be done.
Here's an example, an episode of Big Hero 6: The Series where Honey Lemon tests out a fertility drug on Go Go that ends up working too well and she ends up getting pregnant. Just a suggestion.
Panty and Stocking A ghost of an aborted fetus is looking for a suitable host and ends up finding one in Panty. Panty wakes up the next morning and is 9 months pregnant. Oh, and the ghost baby can talk to her.
Remember when Steve from American Dad had a pregnancy fetish? Steve gets a substitute teacher, a Latina named Miss Mandoza who is heavily pregnant. Steve gets an offer to do yard at her house.
The Super Sentai franchise. Well, as such, it would be a special chapter where several female members from past seasons that in real life the actresses have had children in real life, where they would command the new group of Sentai while they have a pregnant belly under their suit.
>>72 I like this idea, but I'm not crude enough to be able to write P&SwG fanfiction properly. :P
I watched through an entire season of Hoops and noticed this character only showed up once. So I had this idea of her being a series regular. There's also this running gag where the baby in her belly would "talk" as a kind of running gag.
>>113 A Deviantart user named the character Julia Marchi. We can start there.
>>116 Cool
A pregnant couple, who have reached a rough patch in their marriage, decide to go on a nature getaway at a remote cabin. After a heated argument, the husband decides to go on a nature walk where he finds a magic box that places his soul inside the body of the unborn baby in his wife's womb.
WITCH The girls are impregnated by a magical creature, leaving them pregnant and growing.

>animated preggo loli horror movie >girl has a nightmare and wakes up to a sleep paralysis demon looking at her >next day she feels sick and notices her clothes are getting tight >teachers tell her she's starting puberty >has a nightmare about rapid pregnancy and turning into a dragonfly >wakes up bigger and with sores on her back >develops magical powers like telekinesis has her pregnancy progresses >grows an entire trimester at school, gets sent home with a box of tampons and "herbal supplements to help with menstrual bloating" and stays home sick >her mom starts teaching her about bugs and folklore while she's at home >she notices her two sisters look pregnant too >panics when she has bad braxton hicks contractions and tries to leave the house but realizes she's locked inside >sleep paralysis demon shows up and unlocks the door >she runs away into the forest and realizes she can control insects >school principal finds her and takes her home >a few more days pass and her and her sisters get huge >her sisters go into labor first and lay baby sized eggs >she panics again and tries to run but goes into labor before she can reach the door >sleep paralysis demon shows up again to take her away but gets into a fight with the mother while giving exposition >it turns out the girl is a hybrid of human and a type of fairy that reproduce like aphids (they're born pregnant with a clone but gestation doesn't start until they hit puberty) >the sleep paralysis demon is actually her father that was disfigured during a fight with her mother after he realized what would happen to his daughter >he broke into the house to give her a herbal remedy to stop the fetus from growing >her older sister is actually the "mother-sister" of her younger sister >her mother had a child with a human because her lineage was stagnating genetically thought he would give her a male heir >the girl sprouts dragonfly wings and effortlessly gives birth to a giant gelatinous egg during the fight that hatches into a baby boy >the father forgives the mother after he sees their daughter is unharmed after giving birth >he takes the boy to raise as his son and the girl stays with her mother to learn about her new powers and start her own brood If anyone asks, it's a story about the horrors of growing up or something
Here are a couple movie ideas: 1) A single woman with a pregnancy fetish offers to become a surrogate for a married couple who can't have kids, but it turns out the husband also has a pregnancy fetish, and things get complicated. 2) Seven months after getting pregnant from a one night stand, a bisexual woman meets another pregnant woman at a lamaze class and they have an affair.
a bit off topic, but thanks to those who suggested Archive of Our Own to me as a place where i can read and write jpreg stuff without it being against some rule or other.
Steven Universe A flashback episode where we learn that Greg briefly tried to have a relationship with a very pregnant Vidalia. After he is forced to help her give birth at her home, they have a shared epiphany and break; convincing Greg to pursue a real relationship with Rose Quartz.
Silent Hill 3: Heather discovers she's pregnant at the start of the game and spends the rest of the game dealing with a rapid pregnancy that develops into hyper pregnancy.
We start with a pregnant woman at the beach. She's wearing a bright red bikini with white horizontal stripes, a pair if sunglasses, and a straw hat. She then decides to rest, so she puts the straw hat over her eyes and places her phone on her belly. As she sleeps, the baby starts to move and kick at the phone causing the phone to fall on her lap. The baby stretches it's arms through the mother's belly and starts to play with the phone. the mother wakes up and notices the baby is playing with her phone, so she tries to reach for the phone only for her hand to be smacked away by the baby.
Panty and Stocking A ghost of an aborted fetus is looking for a suitable host and ends up finding one in Panty. Panty wakes up the next morning and is 9 months pregnant. Oh, and the ghost baby can talk to her.
Timothy goes to School the Assistant techer (skunk forget her name atm) who recently got married annonces shes preg and progreses in montage. the class throws her a form a baby shower the day before she went on maternity leave. ends with her showing the class her twins.
>>250 Can see Stocking making fun of her such as saying she should have used protection and liking that she can call her fat for a change
X Men: Jubilee is impregnated by the Brood at a local mall and must escape a horde of Sentinels, while hunting the Brood Queen.
>>257 If only there was someone who can write that kind of story
House of Anubis An ancient curse leaves most of the female students pregnant.
>>230 To bounce off the second idea, how about a minimalist romantic drama about a lesbian couple in the final week of their pregnancy. The whole film takes place in their home as they decide to have their babies via water birth.
From what I've heard about Riverdale, it went to weird places in later seasons. I could see an episode where Betty, Veronica and the other girls wind up mysteriously pregnant with ghosts or monsters.
American Horror Story- Death Valley, but good and with zero m-preg.
>>269 I feel like AHS has a tradition where pregnancy needs to be involved
>>270 That brief shot of pregnant Lady Gaga was a sight to behold, too bad it was so short
Dangan Ronpa: Ibuki reveals the shocking true story behind her hit song 'I Squeezed Out the Baby, Yet Have No Idea Who The Father Is
Can we do ideas for commercials on this?
>>308 Sure, why not?
>>270 Yeah and it's good, just sad that we didn't see anything of the rapid pregnancy between the tests and the car scene.
To give one of my too many ideas : Mpreg tv show, like Mamaboy but harder : a weak teen boy is kidnapped by a girl that he accidentally got pregnant, and her mad scientist father transplant a womb in the boy to transfer the baby on him. The boy is unconscious during the whole thing before being taken home. The show will follow the progression of the pregnancy and how he have to live with that after he passed the abortion date. He is also forced to carry the baby for longer than a normal pregnancy and can't have a c-section despite the pains, he go overdue and exceed his full term by several weeks, then several months. Then, once at 15 months, his belly is huge, the baby inside became heavy and the movements are really visibles. Maybe not a full horror drama show, but we just need anyway more mpreg shows or movies.
>>329 Pull it back a bit. You don't need to go too far with the pregnancy. Just have it be a straightforward nine months and be done with it.
>>267 The movie, simply titled "Bump", follows Layla, a writer, and Rose, a punk artist, who are a lesbian couple who have both opted to become pregnant at the same time. The movie takes place entirely on the final week of their pregnancy as they try and deal with the fact that they are both about to become parents in such a short time. Other characters, such as Layla's conservative mother, and Rose's successful brother, Tony, and his wife, Margaret, are only heard via the phone and are not seen. Through dialogue, we learn that Layla intended to go through the pregnancy herself, but guilted Rose into also going through with it when she critiqued her on gender roles. Rose revealed that she considered getting an abortion, but that she couldn't go through with it because she loved her too much. Throughout the film, Layla and Rose partake in making out, doing body art, watching movies ("Nine Months" and "Junior") and come to the realization that lesbian pregnancy is not well represented. On the third day, Layla begins to feel discomfort, but does not tell Rose, and finally makes peace with her mother who has accepted her life. Layla eventually reveals that she is in labor and on the fourth day, Rose helps her in giving birth in the bathtub. She has a boy and names him Johnny, after her late father. While having Johnny lay on her belly, Rose comes to the realization that she and Layla had different donors, thus their babies are not directly related. They ponder the consequences of their unrelated children growing up together, but immediately ignore it. On the sixth day, Rose goes into labor and gives birth to a girl named Molly. The two go through post-partem together with Rose admitting that she would go through it again with Layla in a heartbeat. One week later, Rose and Layla call Tony and Margaret to tell them about the successful birth.
I'm thinking of a short series, simply titled "Tummy Talk", a Slice-of-Life comedy starring Talia, a punk retail worker who is pregnant with her first baby after a one-night-stand with “some guy”. During her final trimester, she discovers that her baby can telepathically communicate with her, fully fluent in the English language. Now she has to deal with her maternity life with an extra voice in her head in set of shorts.
>>333 Aubrey Plaza as Talia Pete Davidson as Baby
>>334 Awesome lol
>>333 Each short will also have Talia's hair in a different style.
>>330 Yeah you're right x)
>>331 Briana Venskus as Layla Verona Blue as Rose Laurie Metcalf as Voice of Mom Logan Marshall-Green as Voice of Tony Nicole Beharie as Voice of Margaret
>>334 Talia's casual look is a black leather jacket, a pair of blue torn jeans, black boots, and a white crop top with the anarchy symbol. She also has an ear ring on her left ear, a piercing on her left nostril, and a bellybutton ring. Her work uniform is a pair of khakis shorts and a blue polo shirt with her underbelly fully exposed.
>>333 Should I make a thread based on this?
>>347 The idea is kind of small. Keep it here for now.
>>348 Okay
>>333 Other characters include Jeremy, Talia's good-natured friend/fuck buddy, which is later revealed to be the father of her baby.
>>352 Thomas Middleditch as Jeremy
In the Netflix show Human Resources, Becca is only seen pregnant in one episode, so imagine what it would be like if she remained pregnant throughout the first season.
>>331 Sense Rose is an artist, does that mean that she'll paint on their bellies?
>>365 That’s the idea.
>>366 Maybe have her draw faces on their bellies
What if Callie Maggotbone from Ugly Americans actually got pregnant?
>>409 Her belly would be kicking non-stop.
What if there was a cartoon short of a heavily pregnant Betty Boop?
>>331 An example of a scene: Layla lies on the couch, rubbing her belly with oil before lying back and staring at the ceiling. Rose stands in front of a mirror stripped down to her underwear and bra and examines her belly. She begins to tap it with her fingers before a small kick alerts her. She lets out a giggle before walking into the other room to be with Layla. She stands in the doorway with her belly out in a sexy pose and tries to get Layla's attention who is too preoccupied with looking at the fan. ROSE: It seems that someone has kidnapped us and filled us up with their spawn. Layla makes no response. ROSE: There is only one thing for us to do. Rose shifts up to Layla and struggles to kneel down next to her. ROSE: Make out with our bellies! Rose proceeds to kiss and lick Layla's belly. She finally looks down at her, but makes no effort to react. Rose finally notices Layla's dour expression. ROSE: Kind of killing the vibe here. LAYLA: I'm not really in the mood to get my belly fucked right now. ROSE: Gentile words have never been said. LAYLA: My mother thinks we're part of some cult. ROSE: Yeah, the cult of the knocked up lesbos. LAYLA: I'm serious Rose. This is supposed to be the greatest moment of my life and I feel like shit right now. We're both due this week and I still can't get her to see how beautiful this is. ROSE: Do you love me? LAYLA: Of course, I do. ROSE: Then that's enough. Rose gives a soft kiss to Layla's belly that is sensual and meaningful. Layla bends over as best as she can to deliver a kiss to the bald half of Rose's head before kissing her lips. LAYLA: I thought you said that pregnancy was overrated. ROSE: I wasn't pregnant then.
>>523 Cute
I an idea I have for an epilogue series for Amphibia. Set 10 years after the finale, Anna, Sasha, and Marcy live together in a three-bedroom apartment. One night, three small sparks, which are last remaining energy of the Calamity Gems, travel to the human world implant themselves into the girls. The next morning, the girls wake up 7 months pregnant. Now the girls have to navigate through life while dealing with a literally sudden pregnancy.
>>579 Upon discovering that they are all pregnant: Anne: “Wut?” Marcy: “Awwww.” Sasha: “NOOOOOO!!!”
>>581 Another thing I should mention, once in awhile their bellies will glow in the corresponding colors of their gems Sasha-Red Anna-Blue Marcey-Green
>>579 They later discover, with the help of Mr. X, that the babies are the reincarnation of the Calamity Gems now taking on a new form.
>>579 Thinking of calling it, Mothers of Calamity.
>>579 I was also thinking that the pregnancies give them the power to open portals to Amphibia
Gabby Duran and the Unsittables: Teenage babysitter for aliens winds up getting knocked up by aliens
Big Mouth Season 6 What if instead of Murry getting pregnant it's Connie?
(200.39 KB 955x1200 AndreaAskowitz-2.jpg)
Andrea Askowitz's autobiographical book "My Miserable Lonely Lesbian Pregnancy" should get a miniseries adaptation for Hulu or something (don't ask, I just think Hulu is the best home for that sort of thing). You can read an excerpt from her book here: https://andreaaskowitz.com/my-miserable-lonely-lesbian-pregnancy/ I can also see Ilana Glazer portray her.
>>664 Here is Ilana Glazer
>>665 For some reason, the other photo I had didn't show up.
>>581 That should give you an idea of their personalities.
What if we had ideas for pregnant characters?
>>678 Like what?
>>679 Like a pregnant mom character for an animated sitcom.
>>680 Sure.
>>681 Good, cause sometimes I have ideas that have a pregnant character but not a pregnancy-themed show, does that make since?
>>682 I created a character like that over on the Hero Forge page: https://pregchan.com/d/res/101.html#5563 She 's not the main character of the series, just a supporting character with her own subplot.
>>683 Nice, that's what I'm talking about
Just a reminder that it's spooky season and I thought everybody would to share any horror-themed ideas.
Sarah Graham: A 25 year old housewife and mother-to-be who is also part of a girl's club.  She is lenient and supportive toward her whole family, while still garnering their love and respect. She is currently pregnant with her third child and is comfortable with her growing body, which is a step up from her last two pregnancies where she was a bit insecure. Sarah has a short stature with long brunette hair and hazel eyes. She mostly wears a pair of blue denim jeans and black boots. She also has on a white tank top that exposes her underbelly and a red flannel jacket.
>>686 The idea is that she's part of an animated sitcom, not like Family Guy or Simpsons but more like Bob's Burgers.
>>695 Her last through the first and second seasons. Maybe even have a Halloween and Christmas episodes.
>>685 I have several: 1.A teenager visits his female cousin in an isolated town and discovers that all the women of childbearing age are pregnant. However, he and two other girls, a goth and an e thot, are the only people in town aware of the pregnancies. They join forces to uncover the secret behind the pregnancy pandemic. 2. A goth and cheerleader wake up nine months pregnant in an abandoned school. Neither girl remembers how they got there, but know they definitely weren't pregnant before. Leaving the school proves difficult, due to their advancing pregnancies and strange creatures stalking them. And if they do escape, what awaits them outside the school? 3.Six teens on a camping trip are ambushed by a weird cult. The boys manage to rescue the girls, but not before the girls are impregnated via ritual. This leads to a race against time, where the youths must make it back to civilization before the cult catches up to them or the girls give birth to the entities inside them. However, there are forces in the woods that are hostile to the teens and the cult...
>>700 Aw nice, this could work as a pregnancy-themed horror anthology.
>>702 The wrap around takes place in a hospital on Halloween night. Three pregnant mothers who are all due to give birth decide to tell each other stories to pass the time.
>>703 Cute
>>706 The twist at the end is that the three are pregnant with monsters and give birth. As the monsters proceed to wreck havoc, one of the women asks, “Same time next year?”
>>707 Of course
>>703 Each story the pregnant mothers tell involves pregnancy and horror.
>>710 Punk girl Arianna Graham and her friends decide to get into some delinquency. Their rein of terror takes them a forest with a no trespassing sign. Not wanting to miss an opportunity, they decide to to jump the fence only to be ambushed by a cult. Arianna wakes up only to discover that not only are her friends dead, but she's also nine months pregnant. She then escapes her prison but is not out of the woods yet... literally. Now she trying to survive the night while also trying to escape the cult that is now pursuing her. And to make it worse, her "baby" can physically talk inside her and is constantly taunting her. God knows what she's currying in there, and she doesn't want to find out.
>>714 The "baby" is growing rapidly, Arianna looks at her ballooning belly and wonders if she's carrying one or an entire litter. She faces threats on all fronts: the cult, other entities that lurk the woods and her declining mobility. Even if Arianna escapes the woods, the cult and other horrors, she cannot escape her unnatural pregnancy. Immobility, labor and birth await Arianna. Will she survive? And if she does, what sort of state will her body be in?
What if there was a pregnant claymation?
Idea for a Season 2 Hoops episode. I know Netflix cancelled the series, but this is an idea I wanted to share. "Great Expectations" At a slumber party, DJ is dared to go-out with Julia Marchi aka "the student with the baby inside her". Not wanting to chicken out, he reluctantly accepts. However, during their date DJ starts to develop feelings for the pregnant girl and starts spending more time with her. At that point, she becomes a recurring character. There is also a running gag where the baby will often "talk" as a sort of cutaway gag. She even starts to become more comfortable and confident. By the end of the season, she gives birth to a boy named Johnathon.
>>721 Honestly what you wrote is 100 times better than anything that show produced.
“The Legend of Calamity Jane” Had the series gotten picked up for multiple seasons, it would’ve great if they featured an arc that dealt with her getting pregnant. The real Calamity Jane had two daughters supposedly from random men she frequented. The series could’ve glamorized it by having her be in a relationship with a man who is killed. Shortly afterwards, she discovers that she is pregnant and needs the help of Wild Bill Hickok, Joe Presto and Quanna Parker to look out for her.
>>723 Gotta love an action preggo
>>721 Even had this idea, during a prep rally Julia has her belly painted like a basketball.
https://www.cda.pl/video/91641838 Ending which would start at 1:19:51 but have woman in the final scene give birth to the creature, either naturally or it would burst out of her like an alien.
A few ideas: 1)A teenage boy—with a secret attraction to pregnant women—starts hanging out with a pregnant classmate. 2)A short about a one-night stand between a man and a pregnant woman. 3)A pregnant woman moves into an apartment rented by a young man.
>>716 I'm not adding rapid growth or hyperpreg in any way.
I thought of an idea for an animated short film about a pregnant animal character ballet dancing in a large lavish house. A little child watches her and giggles throughout. The pregnant character begins kissing various pictures and objects that relate to her pregnancy. She sees her reflection and after examining her body tries to kiss her belly, but is unable to. After pouting, the child walks out from hiding and kisses her belly. They then begin dancing together.
>>764 Interesting
(75.97 KB 852x1196 E_WLtS3UUAEv_z5.jpg)
>>764 I was inspired by this animated short film from years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rguobJqYXGU I was also thinking of this rhino character named Miss Boumba from the French animated show Chico Chica Boumba.
Thought I bring this back from the old pregchan. "The Preggy Peggy Show" Premise: Join Peggy Fleischer, a stay-at-home mother to be, through numerous wacky hi-jinks as she tries to enjoy life to the fullest despite all the "bumps" along the way. Characters: "Preggy" Peggy Fleischer - A stay-at-home mother-to-be who is always taking part in her hobbies and house projects. Happy to be pregnant with her first child, she tries to make the best of her situation and refuses to let her baby bump get in the way of her goals. Baby Fleischer - The unborn baby inside Peggy's belly. While not yet born, He still finds a way to cause trouble for his poor dear mother. However, despite his mischievous nature he truly cares for his mother, in his own unique way that is. Eddie Fleischer - Peggy's husband who works at a clean energy factory. He is usually baffled at her wife's insistence at doing work, but at the same time finds her take control actions very attractive and supports her hobbies nonetheless. I'm just interested in the idea of a preggo that squash and stretch like a rubber hose character.
Always wanted a 3rd episode of Risa where her uncle gets her pregnant and she's kicked out of her parents place
>>789 What?
>>783 Baby Fleischer's nickname is "Hiccup" cus s/he (gender is kept a surprise) constantly hiccups in mommy's womb, and annoying it is...still cute and funny.
>>783 Betty Belly - Peggy's arch-rival who dominates the Neighborhood Wives club. She has a very conservative way of doing things and views Peggy as a "knick" in her plans. She will occasionally team up with her when their goals align. Edward "Neddie" Belly - Betty's put upon husband who also works at the clean energy factory with Eddie. Unlike their spouses, Neddie and Eddie get along quite well. However, Neddie is not as confident as Eddie. Louise Linea-Nigra - Peggy's neighbor from South America who is pregnant with twins. She is always poking her head into Peggy, and occasionally Betty's, life. She loves to dance and bare her belly out; apparently unaware of her immodest appearance. Luis Linea-Nigra - Louise's husband from South America who is happy about being a father. He is always dragging Eddie and Neddie on strange misadventures while the wives stay home. He loves dancing with his wife (apparently, it is how they met).
Not What I Expected! Premise: The series focuses on six women in a single pregnancy self help group. The main character is actually the one who leads the group, a semi-retired guru of sorts named Elsa Jones whose son, Todd, still lives with her. In actuality, he is also the father of the baby to one of the women. The humor comes from Elsa having to deal with her six subjects who put up with problems of their own, as well as her son's hair-brained schemes. Characters: Elsa Jones VA: Maya Rudolph A 50-something, semi-retired self-help guru who runs the pregnant singles meeting. She had her son by herself after her husband abruptly left her and tries to impart her wisdom to women facing similar struggles, that is if anyone is willing to hear her. She tries to maintain her already hectic life. Todd Jones VA: Justin Roiland Elsa's 20-something son who is trying to sell his app which he claims will change the world. Despite his immature behavior, he is actually intelligent and very observant. He is the father to the baby of one of Elsa's subjects. Maya Rosario VA: Natalie Morales A hard working woman who has no time to slow down. At the advice of a friend, she went out and accidentally got knocked up, but decided to keep the baby so that she could "have an anchor". It is revealed that Todd is the father of her baby. Iris Lee VA: Nichole Sakura A progressive influencer who agrees to be a surrogate to a couple she knows. When they end up dying, she gets stuck with having to carry the baby to term and starts reflecting on her choices. Natalie Grant VA: Natasha Lyonne A bisexual punk rock programmer who decided to get inseminated on a dare. While she won't admit it, she loves the feeling of pregnancy and the thought of being a mommy. Her hair is always different. Tanya Morris VA: Tiffany Haddish An aspiring dancer and singer who became pregnant through a one-night stand. She doesn't mind the attention and does all she can to get her name out there to the masses, turning her pregnancy into "her story". Sarah Wright VA: Riki Lindhome A teenager who comes from a privileged family. Her boyfriend, now her ex, was scared off by her parents. She wants to break free from her home and be independent. She admires Natalie. Dr. Naomi Shaw VA: Gillian Jacobs A scientist trying to make a breakthrough. She impregnated herself using her own DNA to create working sperm and "a couple other things". She challenges Elsa the most as she does not consider her work "real science". She comes to the meetings because she is lonely.
>>793 The large majority of The Preggy Peggy Show takes place in a modern world setting. However, most of the shorts take place in different parts of the world
Precious Cargo The series follows a trucker named Michaela "Mike" Jenkins who is tough, sexy and not afraid to handle herself. While out hauling her cargo around, she witnesses a UFO crash and rescues an androgynous alien named Kamran and nurses them back to health. One thing leads to another and Mike is now eating for two. Now Mike and Kamran are on the road trying to avoid conspiracy theorists, strange hitchhikers and men in black who want Kamran. Also, Mike's baby might also be sought after by Kamran's species. This is a series of shorts with episodes ranging about to be 8-11 minutes long.
"9 Months on Erania” A space ship carrying explorers and passengers crash land on the cargo planet Erania. Among them is mercenary and gun for hire Cassidy "Cass" Bane, a tough and sarcastic young woman. Being the only person with any real survival skills, she takes control of the group. However, her last kill just so happened to involve sleeping with the enemy. One faulty condom later and now Cass has to wrestle with the knowledge that she has a bun in the oven. Estimated to get help in nine months, Cass has to make due with her situation.
>>822 So now she has to play babysitter to a bunch of survivors while also having to deal with her own pregnancy... great.
“My Baby the Elf King” In a faraway kingdom, there ruled a wise and powerful king named Durlan who ruled over the Ceathen Kingdom. He protected the realm along with his trusted knights from the clutches of Morigana, an evil sorceress who wanted the throne all to herself. So she devised a plan to rid the king and his knights so she could take the kingdom and conquer the realm. While the king and his court were enjoying a feast to celebrate a recent victory, Morigana appeared and casted a curse upon the king. The curse removed Durlan’s soul from his body and banished it from this realm. Meanwhile the realm of humans called Earth, Kimiko Muratagi, a pink-haired junior in high school was heading back home after a long day. She goes about her evening as usual and then gets ready for bed. That night while sleeping in her bed, a small orb floats into her bedroom and implants itself into her womb. The next morning Kimiko is shocked to find herself 9 months pregnant. After freaking out about her situation, she then hears a voice asking her to calm down. She looked around to find where the voice was coming from, it didn’t take long for her to find out that the voice was coming from her womb.
>>893 What the fuck am I supposed to say to that?
>>895 No more stories from you.
>>822 Not a bad idea
>Fetus in Fetu Women becomes spontaneously pregnant despite thinking she's infertile. Weird spooky horror shit happens. In the end, the baby is born fully sentient and proceeds to wreak havoc. Big reveal: it turns out it's her unborn twin, having wriggled its way into her uterus to get enough nutrients to finally finish growing. Basically a ripoff of "Malignant" and "The Unborn" among other movies.
>>899 Already sounds better than Malignant, I'm in
>>899 >>900 Does the baby force her to fight people in a highly-choreographed action scene? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLzY0tWUtFo
>>899 Like does she wake up pregnant?
>>901 That's so random, considering the movie's premise. Then again, it wasn't a good movie.
Can we pitch ideas for anime here?
>>1002 I suppose. I was also thinking of creating another thread for ideas for music videos that could feature pregnancy.
>>1003 How about one for commercials?
>>749 Like a pregnancy-themed anthology series

In need of an affordable place, Lola and Mei answer; leading all three women to have the strangest nine month experience. “The Incredible Birth of Joey Jr.” A 52 episode animated series that revolves around Josie “Joey” Johnson, a 23-year-old adventurer. Taking place in the anachronistic nation of Gravana, where magic and technology co-exist, Josie goes on a variety of adventures collecting treasures and battling evildoers. On one adventure, she discovers a glowing orb that “chooses” her to bare the hero that will eventually save the world. Now Josie must wrestle with a pregnancy she never wanted while continuing her escapades. Every episode opens with Josie narrating her adventures presumably to the titular Joey Jr., her unborn child and the events leading up to his birth.
>>1055 Nice
>>1055 Will the series be split into seasons?
>>1058 I’m thinking two seasons consisting of 26 each is good enough.
>>1059 Reasonable
>>1055 Josie "Joey" Johnson - A 23-year-old adventurer with a knack for fixing things and the ability to handle any major weapon that falls into her hands. She tends to be underestimated due to her size and perky personality, but deep down is a clever and witty girl who loves her freedom. Josie encounters a tribe whose artifact, a mystic orb, is stolen by scavengers. After retrieving it, the orb becomes infused to her and makes her pregnant. The tribe tells her that she has been "chosen" to bare the hero of legend and Josie must reluctantly carry the child to term while dealing with numerous other threats. Jackson Johnson - Josie's 52-year-old father and an adventurer in his own right. The two used to be a duo before Josie got older and went out on her own. He is eccentric and unpredictable, but always seems to pull off successful ploys in the end. Upon discovering that he is to be grandfather, he starts to become reluctant over Josie continuing her adventuring. It is only through seeing her determination to fight and be a good mom that he decides to support her in her most difficult time of need. Ray Randolph - A 25-year-old quirky tech expert and Josie's best friend. The two have known each other since they were children and have stuck together since then. Ray helps Josie find places to journey to and supplies her with tools when necessary. Ray is the first person to learn of Josie's pregnancy and immediately supports her. This is partially due to the fact that he has requited feelings for her, which over the course of the series becomes much more apparent with Josie eventually learning to reciprocate them. Doc Chu - A 60-year-old doctor who once worked for many major figures and now does basic family practice to make ends meet. She is usually the go to for Josie, but is in way over her head when she learns that she is pregnant. Chu is an expert in all things medical and has some of her own remedies that cause weird side effects, but get the job done. She begins to notice that Josie's unborn baby is imbuing her with slightly enhanced abilities and becomes intrigued in learning about all of them. Mia Suzuki - Another young pregnant woman that Josie befriends. She is a tough and no-nonsense woman who decided to keep her baby despite her boyfriend running out on her. She doesn't let being single get her down and finds it relieving as she feels free. Josie usually comes talk to her whenever she is not out adventuring and needs someone to relate to who is going through a similar situation. Mia will sometimes get dragged into an adventure, usually unintentionally, but displays the ability to protect herself efficiently. Baron Krakov - Jackson's former arch-enemy and now Josie's arch-enemy. An eccentric baron who tries and fails to beat the Johnsons. Upon learning of Josie's pregnancy, he believes that he is at an advantage, only to sadly learn that this is not the case. He has a dirigible as his mode of transportation and is always trying to perfect his evil habits, usually with ridiculous results. He is always trying to get his henchmen in line, with some of them wondering why he wants to badger a pregnant woman. Gribbens - Baron Kravov's assistant. He is a constantly insulted and pressed upon by the baron who has him perform menial chores around the dirigible. Throughout the series, he is shown to have other interests such as art, crochet, cooking and music (specifically hip hop). Sometimes when he is away from the baron, he will encounter Josie, Ray or Mia and is shown to be quite cordial with them. Despite this, his loyalty lies with the baron and he is resigned to work for an evil man, no matter how idiotic he may be.
>>1062 Uou should make a thread of this.
>>1055 What would the art style closely resemble?
>>1065 Probably that feux anime style in shows like Voltron, She-Ra and Marvel’s Spider-Man.
>>1066 Like Avatar, The Last Airbender
>>1067 I’m glad you noticed that too.
>>1062 Mia Suzuki can be voiced by AJ Michalka
>>1070 Seeing as how she is clearly supposed to be Japanese, I would go with either Kimiko Glenn, Lyrica Okano, or Atsuko Okatsuka.
>>1073 The latter two have husky voices, so they would probably be a better fit.
>>1066 Since it has an anime-like style, does that mean we'll have a swimsuit episode?
>>1079 There would be an episode where she goes on a deep sea diving adventure and has to wear one.
>>1062 What would each character look like?
>>1081 This is how I imagine Josie.

>>1082 Ray would look like this.
>>1082 Would she have her belly out like that?
>>1084 Sometimes it's covered, sometimes it's not. There would even be an exchange about it. Raymond: "Uh..." Josie: "What?" Raymond: "You're seriously going out like that?" Josie: "It's 100 degrees outside, of course!"
>>1055 How does magic work?
>>1086 It's very Indiana Jones-esque. People are aware of it, but it is not commonly used by the public.

>>1083 Jackson's inspiration is obvious.
>>1088 Of course
>>1088 For Mia, I'd probably add a pink color streak in her hair.
Any live-action sitcom where one of the main female characters is very pregnant. She meets a guy one day who constantly flirts with her. Occasionally he'll say things like "big and beautiful" and "plump and juicy."
Close Enough A flash back episode showcasing Bridgett heavily pregnant with Candance.

>>1272 Nice
The first couple of episodes of season one focuses on Darryl and Wanda trying for a baby and get pregnant quickly. Around this time, Yolanda and Bunny also get pregnant. Season one deals entirely with their pregnancies and near the end of the season they all give birth to their respective children. Here, we get the famous first panel from the first comic. Season two shows more of them raising their first child with a brief time skip before Wanda gets pregnant with their second child. Hammie is born in the season two finale. Season three is pure classic Baby Blues with the MacPhersons and their friends caught up in the shenanigans audiences are used to seeing them in until the very last episode where Wanda learns she is pregnant again, just as Yolanda and Bunny learn they are pregnant too. Season four follows the entire pregnancy of all three characters until the very end when they give birth with Bunny having Wendell John and Wendell Jon, Yolanda having Dziko, and Wanda finally having Wren. Season five continues on with the traditional Baby Blues set up. If I had my way, I would see Rhonda suddenly get pregnant from a one night stand and Wanda getting pregnant with one final child, with the gag being that she is 40 and freaking out because she thinks she shouldn't be pregnant again.
>>1274 That actually sounds pretty good
>>1274 Every episode starts with an animated short based on the comic strips.
i remember a Baby Bkues cartoon, but was set after zoe (and possibly hammie) was born and had no preg. the show was a total flop but seems your talking about a diff series.
>>1277 The show only featured Zoe and a completely different supporting cast than the one featured in the comic strip. It was trashed by critics and even the original comic strip authors hated it because they weren’t given any creative control. This is my attempt at trying to make a better one if the original creators were involved.

>>1284 Baby Blues is not an anime.
>>1285 ok fanmade animated series then?
>>1286 Well like I said, it’s a what if scenario if I was tasked by Hulu to do an animated series with the original creators of said comic, that’s what I would do.
>>1287 Also if Disney decides to merge Hulu, it would technically also be a Disney+ series as well.
I just wanna see a movie or television series about a single pregnant woman embracing the idea of her current situation being simultaneously hellish but also sexy at the same time. Putting aside my fetish, there's a lot of potential for something like that in terms of themes, commentary, and character that could make it interesting. The good and bad that come with sexualizing pregnancy, being yourself despite the current circumstances, etc. Also interesting if it were an American made movie or television series would be visually showcasing the draw of sexualizing pregnancy that does not come across as porn-like. There can be a balance between having incredibly intimate pregnant sex scenes that don't show much nudity and hardcore fucking that showcases what a pregnant woman can pull off or not plus the pleasure she gets from it.
>>1289 There's one movie that came out on HBO Max in 2021 that's part documentary, part narrative film called "Single Mother by Choice". It stars Selina Ringel who used her real life pregnancy in the film. She plays a workaholic woman who is a casting director who decides to get pregnant by herself. Part of the film takes place during the COVID lockdown and the there are some really decent bare belly scenes including a shot where she is shown sleeping in the nude.

"Why Don't We Do It in the Road?" Micah is an immature, yet deeply committed young man who discovers that his girlfriend Margaret is pregnant. He is excited at the prospect of being a dad, but Margaret's parents despise Micah, to the point that her father punches him and knocks him out in their front yard. Micah discovers that Margaret and her family are gone and recruits his friend Nevin to help and locate her. After eight months, Micah and Nevin manage to find Margaret at an isolated compound and learn that her parents are part of a deeply religious, yet incredibly inept, satanic cult who want to "bless" the baby. Micah and Nevin whisk Margaret away. As she nears her due date, the trio must evade the cult and encounter a variety of odd characters along the way, while Micah learns to be a better man. The title refers to the climax where Margaret eventually goes into labor, as well as Micah's love for the Beatles.

Just came up with a fun idea. There should be an episode of "Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur", as a throw away gag, where the heroes come across a villain who is pregnant. It's not part of her gimmick, she just so happens to be pregnant. The scene begins with Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur jumping into action to stop a criminal (probably a macho-lady type like Gladiatrix or Poundcakes). They have this really epic intro and you get their full figure in silhouette, but just as they are about to charge forward, the villain is revealed to be pregnant. Moon Girl: "Alright! Let's get..." {sees pregnant belly} "Woah, woah, woah! Slow down Double D!" Moon Girl yanks on Devil Dinosaur just short of the villain who proceeds to, weakly, punch at Devil Dinosaur's feet. Villain: {Out of breath} "I'm gonna pound you so hard that all that's left is just a giant red disk and a girl screamin' for their mama!" Moon Girl: {Bored} "Just stop." Villain: "You can't defeat me!" Devil picks up the villain by the teeth and sets her down. Moon Girl: "Listen, I'm all for a good superhero, supervillain fight, but, how do I put this? You're pregnant!" Villain: "How dare you make fun of my weight!" Moon Girl: "I'm serious! Have you been to a doctor? Look at you! You're gonna have a baby and I for one am not going to put an unborn child's life in danger." Devil Dinosaur makes an agreeable grunting noise. Villain: "I get it! You're just scared that I'm gonna cream ya! Well then step back and - GAH!!" The villain falls over clutching her belly. Moon Girl: "Woah, are you okay?" Villain: "If you think a little stomach cramp is going to... going to... Oh who am I kidding!? I'm going into labor!!!" Moon Girl: "Quick Big D, we gotta get her to the hospital before..." Splashing noise is heard. Moon Girl: "That happens." Villain: "It's coming now! It can't wait!" Moon Girl hops off and gets the villain to sit up. Moon Girl: "Okay, I've only read about how to do this. So forgive me if I..." The villain grabs Lunella by the collar. Villain: "Shut up and just deliver my baby! AAAAAAUUUUGGHHHH!!!!!!" Moon Girl: "This is gonna be a long birth." 1 Hour Later... The villain is holding a crying baby and Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur look tired. Moon Girl: "Well, that's something I cannot unsee." Villain: "Hello, little baby. Mama is gonna turn over a new leaf and take good care of you." Moon Girl: "Well, that's good to hear." Villain: "I'm gonna name him after you." Moon Girl: "Uuuuuuhhhhh...." Villain: "Moon!" Moon Girl: "Oh, right." Later Casey: "You helped deliver a baby?" Lunella: "I'm a godmother now."
>>1305 Lunella: I can't believe that villain tried to fight us while pregnant. Casey: You should've seen Spider-Woman
>>1306 When Lunella says "You're pregnant!" a balloon would pop up showing a baby in a fetal position with a smile and his eyes closed. When the villain goes into labor, it would show the baby would an cute little angry face as if he is trying to get out.
>>1307 Maybe even have the baby punch the womb walls too
>>1308 I decided the villain should be Poundcakes because she has an interesting design to her and because her name sounds funny, Marian Pouncy. It would be funny if she showed up in another episode running a gym for moms and moms-to-be called "Poundcakes" and we get to see her exercise with her baby in a sling mimicking her moves. Moon Girl: "Marian!" Poundcakes: "Moon Girl! How's my favorite godmother?" Moon Girl: "How's little Moon Devil Pouncy?" Moon: {Babbles}
"Tummy Talk" Premise: Talia, a punk chick working as a retail worker, becomes pregnant a one-night-stand with “some guy”. During her final trimester, she discovers that her baby can telepathically communicate with her, fully fluent in the English language. Now she has to deal with her maternity life with an extra voice in her head in a series of shorts. Talia: A 20-something punk retail worker who becomes pregnant after a one-night-stand with a stranger. She is tough, independent, and sarcastic, but also vulnerable as she navigates the challenges of pregnancy and impending motherhood. Talia is shocked to discover that her baby can communicate with her telepathically, and must learn to balance her own thoughts and feelings with those of her unborn child. Baby: Talia's unborn baby is an unexpected surprise, but soon becomes a source of constant communication and entertainment for Talia. The baby is fully fluent in English and has a sarcastic and witty personality, often cracking jokes and offering commentary on Talia's life and decisions. Jeremy: Talia's good-natured friend/fuck Buddy who becomes a key player in her life after it is revealed that he is the father of her baby. He is kind, loyal, and supportive, but also a bit clumsy and socially awkward. Jeremy must learn to navigate his unexpected role as a father while balancing his own personal and professional challenges. Aubrey Plaza as Talia Pete Davidson as Baby Thomas Middleditch as Jeremy

>>1317 The Beyonder's description of Poundcakes when she first appears: "Marian Pouncy was a disgraced wrestler who decided to use her raw and boundless strength to become the supervillain known as... POUNDCAKES!" After her pregnancy is revealed: "Oh, right. I forgot one more thing... she's preggers y'all! And if you're wondering who the baby daddy is, well... so is Marian. Now back to the fight."
>>1417 How would Poundcakes look in this version?
(1.28 MB 800x1209 5726123-poundcakeswasp.png)
>>1427 Close to this design. Unmasked, she would have a buzzcut. Furthermore, I think it would be funny if her pregnant belly was peaking out a little in the middle.
>>1428 Like a whole underbelly thing?
>>1429 Yeah. We see her underbelly and when it jumps ahead, she's got a blanket covering her bottom half. How Moon Girl got a blanket is not really important, she's Moon Girl she just has one. Kimberly Brooks would voice her because she can accomplish that sexy husky voice that she employs when voicing Jasper on Steven Universe.

There should be a series that features a young boy protagonist that has one episode where he checks out a new bakery called "Bun in the Oven" and meets the owner. The owner turns out to be really cool and laid-back, but the boy discovers that she is pregnant with her belly slightly sticking out. The entire episode would have him be nervous around her and her condition while everyone is cool with her. In the end, he finally admits that he feels weird around her and she lets him touch her belly which puts him at ease and has him accept pregnancy as a wonderful thing.
>>1457 So, I thought about it. This sounds like something that would be an episode of Big City Greens. The episode would be called "Baby Bump". Cricket and Tilly convince Bill to take them to a bakery so that they can get cookies. They stop at a random one called "Bun in the Oven" and go inside. They meet the owner, a single, laid back, yet strong woman named Molly Pann who immediately takes a liking to the Greens. She decides to make fresh cookies for them and it is quickly revealed that she is pregnant, with her belly peaking out from under her shirt and everything. Bill and Tilly take her pregnancy rather well and commend her for being strong despite not being married, but Cricket is very uncomfortable. Cricket: "Whaaaaaaaaaa?" Bill: "Oh, I see you got a bun in the oven yourself." Molly: Yep. I figured, what the heck? If I'm not gonna be a mom now, when, amirite?" Tilly puts her hand on her belly, "You are a very confident and independent woman for choosing to be a mother." Molly: "Thanks kid." Bill: "Hey, Cricket. Would you like to feel the baby?" Cricket: "No, thanks, I can... see her belly... from here. And all it's roundness." Cricket tries to hide the fact that pregnant women, especially those who are liberal with their appearance, make him uncomfortable. They start seeing her almost daily until Molly offers to take Cricket and Tilly out herself and Bill accepts. In the end, Cricket finally comes clean about how he feels about pregnant women. Cricket: "Alright. Molly, you're great and all, but... your baby bump makes me uncomfortable. Look, I know it's natural and all, but for some reason, seeing you walk around with your gut hanging out just makes mee feel weird! I'm sorry, if I offended you. I can understand if you don't want to hang out with me. Molly smiles: "Cricket... are you finished?" Cricket: "Uhhh... yeah." Molly: "Take a deep breath." Cricket breaths. Molly: "Now... go ahead and touch it." Cricket: "Didn't you hear what I just..." Molly puts her finger on Cricket's lips: "Don't think, just do it." Cricket touches Molly's belly and an adorable shot of Cricket touching the baby's hand is shown. Cricket suddenly becomes euphoric and happy: "Wow. I guess I did get a little worked up over nothing. Molly... I think you're gonna be an amazing mother." Molly: "That means a lot coming from you." The b plot would be about Gramma Alice and Gloria getting caught up in some shenanigans.
>>1495 What would Molly look like?
>>1496 She would have light blue skin and dark blue hair that’s long on one side and short on the other. She’d wear a red shirt with torn off sleeves and denim shorts with black leggings and flat shoes. The bottom of her belly is visible and her linea-nigra can be seen. I think Natasha Lyonne should voice her.
>>1497 Molly would be a recurring character and maybe even serve as a love interest for Bill. In "Pool's Gold", it's pretty much apparent that Bill is cool with seeing other women. This would culminate in an episode called "Labor Day" where she goes into labor and the Greens get help from Officer Keys. Officer Keys: "Hello, Greens! I just wanted to see what you all were... Woah Nelly! Madam, did you know that you are in the throes of motherhood?" Molly: "No duh! I'm in labor!" Bill: "We have to get her to the hospital!" Officer Keys: "Don't fret! I've watched enough internet videos on this sort of thing!" Bill: "You've watched videos on how to help with birthing?" Officer Keys: "Yes, and there is so much that I cannot unsee!" Keys covers Molly and lifts her legs up: "Now, I'm just going to take a peek and see what we're working with." Bill: "How is it?" Officer Keys: "Everything's a-okay!" Bill: "Really?" Officer Keys: "She's crowing!" Molly: "AAAAUUUGGGHHHHH!!!!"
>>1497 I should already know the answer, but would there be a bare belly scene?
>>1456 Do to the physical bond between Akkio and Emeric, she is able to channel his power.
>>1499 There's an ultrasound scene and when she lets Cricket touch her belly, she lifts her shirt up.

"Stretch Marks" Bethany Powers is a tattoo artist who got knocked up from a one night stand. One day, she discovers a tattoo on her belly that takes the form of a smiley face. The tattoo proceeds to morph into an object or image that freaks her out. She goes to see her nerdy and supernatural obsessed friend Myron Dekes who informs her that the one who knocked her up was most likely a seer who has bestowed upon her the ability to hunt and neutralize evil, an ability that is most likely supposed to be passed down to her unborn child. Bethany discovers that she has powers and that she must protect her child at all costs while fighting the forces of evil. At the beginning of every episode, Bethany's "resting" tattoo is that of a goofy smiley face that morphs into an object or thing (something simple like a tree or a bird to something complex like a street or even a person). She and her friends have to locate this particular thing which will take them to the supernatural threat to face (sometimes the tattoo on her belly is the item needed to defeat said evil). She later learns that the reason why her tattoo rests on a smiley face is to say that things are fine.
>>1509 Does that mean her belly is constantly bare?
>>1510 Most of the time it is. Sometimes, she wears a small shirt where only the bottom of her belly is visible, but you can still make out the tattoo.
>>1509 What powers does she gain?
>>1512 It changes depending on the tattoo. Sometimes it's something cool like a powerful energy punch and other times it's something ridiculous like the ability to imitate a whale call. It's always a one-off thing like: Elongate her limbs, but only her arms Read the thoughts of others Speak to dogs Her navel turns into a fully functioning mouth (this is accompanied by the tattoo morphing so that the mouth is around the navel and the eyes are animated and blink) Phase through walls, but only in bathroom like areas Shapeshifting, but only into the form of actress Maya Rudolph (her pregnant belly still remains as a nod to Rudolph's series of roles where she is pregnant) Toughened skin, represented by turning ashy gray Split into two people, but causes one to be a rude, huge jerk and the other into the nicest, sweetest person (both are still pregnant) Electricity powers Grow extra pair of arms Etc.
>>1509 >>1513 I can probably see this being an Image Comics' series.
A coming-of-age movie with a subplot a high school junior losing his virginity with a very pregnant high school senior.
>>1509 What would Bethany look like?
>>1511 In those instances, you could use creative camera angles or special effects to show the tattoo without necessarily showing her bare belly.

>>1498 Any other episodes that'll feature her before the birth?
>>1542 Like I said, she would be recurring. There could be an episode where the b plot has Bill taking her to a lamaze class and another where she meets Nancy and there is awkward tension between them.

"Expecting Animals" An animated concept short film that features stories from real pregnant women, but personified as talking animals. A hippo who is having her fourth child and contrary to what one might expect is very excited. "My name is Tammy. I have been married to my wonderful husband Mark for 10 years. We have three children, Davis, Shawna and Ethan and we are about to have baby number four. I know that some people would find this scary or tense {laughs}, but I... found myself enjoying my last three pregnancies and I've been in love with this one so..." A deer who is a first time mom and is very nervous. "My name is Eve and my husband's name is Adam, no joke. As soon as we got married we knew we wanted to have a baby fast. So, here I am pregnant with our first child and it has been a wild ride so far. When you start out, you think it's going to be very easy, but instead it becomes this giant step that you need to cross. Some days it feels like you're taking this very strange experiment and some days you're just like 'wow, I can't believe I'm doing this!!'" A wolf who is going it alone for her own personal reasons. "My name is Aria. I'm a self-employed graphic designer and have been pretty happy so far. Having a baby was something that I never thought would happen. I had a couple of friends who decided really early to have a baby and when my career took off I started wondering if I was ever going to have that life. The more I thought about it, the more I realized that I really wanted to be a mommy, but I knew I wasn't going to wait for the right guy to come along, so I had to make a decision quick." A squirrel and her partner, a rabbit, both deciding to share the experience together. Jasmine: "I'm Jasmine." Hana: "And I'm Hana." Jasmine: "And... we're both pregnant." Both: {laughs} Jasmine: "When we decided to have a baby, I was kind of scared that one of us would have to go it alone and we knew that it was decision that wasn't as easy as flipping a coin. We had to decide if this was something we both wanted to do." Hana: "I love Jasmine so much. And I wanted a baby and she wanted a baby and we had this look like, 'can we both have a baby?' {laughs} 'can we both be pregnant at the same time?' and once we decided on that, we were firing on all cylinders." A lynx who is acting as a surrogate for a gay couple, a lion and a leopard. "My name is Kari and I'm a professional surrogate. Alan and Steve have both been the best and when I first met them, I knew that they were the kind of couple who would make for great parents. To have the ability to create life for someone else is such a heartwarming experience and gives me the opportunity to really give back to someone, you know?"
>>1566 Are they like anthropomorphic?
>>1567 Yes.
>>1566 How would this be animated?
>>1569 CGI.
>>1570 The characters would be Sonic-esque, in that their sizes wouldn't be radically drastic. Jasmine and Hana would be roughly the same height while Aria, Eve and Kari are about the same and only slightly taller than Jasmine and Hana. Tammy would be pretty tall though.
Kind of like how in "Juno" there's a scene where Juno discovers a comic with a pregnant hero called "Most Fruitful Yuki", I think it would be funny if there was a movie where a character discovers a series of maternity based products and the mascot for them is a very sexy looking pregnant cartoon animal of some kind, like either a rabbit or a vixen.
>>1577 I kinda want a movie about Most Fruitful Yuki
If anyone ever had the chance to create a pregnancy-themed series, what streaming service would you put it on?
>>1594 My first instinct would be Netflix, but they're a mixed bag nowadays with a 50/50 chance that shows would not last after one season. HBO Max, soon to be retitled Max, seemed like an obvious candidate, but now that's up in the air due to their new status on scripted shows. Something with money behind it would go on Hulu (Disney+ Star internationally) or Prime. Something of a lower tier would be on Peacock.
>>1595 Peacock is when you know you're desperate.
>>1604 Or Tubi (tee hee!)
Julia Louis-Dreyfuss was apparently pregnant while making Seinfeld and Jerry, somewhat inappropriately, suggested that they write her as being fat. I think it would have been hilarious if they wrote her pregnancy in as the result of a one night stand. Elaine enters the apartment, visibly pregnant. Jerry: "So how are things going in Wonderland, Tweedle-Dee?" {laugh track} Elaine gives a pissed off look: "Ha ha." George: "So this guy just took off and hasn't called you back?" Elaine: "No! I thought things were going great between us. How is it that men can just run off and women are left looking like they swallowed a watermelon? {laugh track} I swear this kid won't stop kicking!" Jerry: "Don't worry, when the kid gets here, it'll get followed up by the tugging, pulling, vomiting, screaming, yelling and crying. And most of those will be from you." {laugh track} Kramer slides in: "Hey, how's it going?" Elaine: "Just perfect." Kramer has a wild reaction: "Elaine, what happened to you?" {laugh track} Everyone looks at Kramer in total confusion. George: "She's pregnant." Kramer: "Since, when?" {laugh track} Jerry: "Since nine months ago." Kramer: "Why, what happened nine months ago?" {laugh track} Elaine: "I slept with Aaron you jackass!" {laugh track} Kramer: "Oh... Aaron... is he the one that got you pregnant?" {laugh track}

>>1557 According to IMDb, there is a movie in development called "The Baby Shower" and the premise reads "A group of women celebrating their friend's latest pregnancy find themselves stranded in a foreign country and wanted by the authorities." Basically a simplified version of my idea.

I owe this thread an apology. It’s still cringe as hell but there are things that can be a whole lot worse than that.

Here's the official synopsis of the first book: "Elvie Nara was doing just fine in the year 2074. But then she had to get involved with sweet, gorgeous, dumb-as-a-brick Cole—and now she’s pregnant. Getting shipped off to the Hanover School for Expecting Teen Mothers was not how Elvie imagined spending her junior year, but she can go with the flow. That is, until a team of hot commandos hijacks the ship—and one of them turns out to be Cole. She hasn’t seen him since she told him she’s pregnant, and now he’s bursting into her new home to tell her that her teachers are aliens and want to use her unborn baby to repopulate their species? Nice try, buddy. You could have just called. So fine, finding a way off this ship is priority number one, but first Elvie has to figure out how Cole ended up as a commando, work together with her arch-nemesis, and figure out if she even wants to be a mother—assuming they get back to Earth in one piece." In the midst of the chaos, she is forced to grapple with her own feelings about life, relationships, and the prospect of new life. This comic is a whirlwind of humor and absurdity, characteristic of Jhonen Vasquez's style.

However, his fear of humans and general lack of experience lead to many comical blunders and misadventures. "Bump in the Road" Premise: In the offbeat town of Bellavista, neurotic Lila discovers she's pregnant. With her clueless husband, Stan, at her side, they embark on a chaotic journey of impending parenthood. The show dives deep into issues of femininity, sexuality, societal norms, friendships, and empowerment. Characters: Lena: A vivacious 30-something woman with a vibrant personality. She's career-driven and a staunch feminist. Lena discovers she's pregnant after a fling and decides to keep the baby. A fun-loving, supportive ally who stands by Lena's choices and offers comedic relief. Mara often finds herself in humorous situations due to her own love life and the advice she gives to Lena. David: Lena's younger brother, who becomes her unlikely roommate and confidant during her pregnancy. He offers a fresh, male perspective on Lena's journey and is fiercely protective of his sister. Jenna: A single mother from Lena's prenatal class. She becomes Lena's guide in the world of motherhood and offers perspective on how to balance personal desires with motherly responsibilities. Eli: A charismatic individual from Lena's past who resurfaces during her pregnancy. Eli challenges Lena's views on relationships and plays a complex role in her evolving journey.

Had this idea for an animated sitcom, while it's not pregnancy based it does have a pregnant character in it. "Creeptown, USA" Takes place in a small American town where the supernatural and paranormal are common to the point where they co-exist with the mundane (basically Gravity Falls meets Ugly Americans). One of the recurring characters is a woman named Alicia Cruz, a heavily pregnant woman who owns a bakery/diner. There's a running gag where she's obviously pregnant with a demonic entity but she's completely oblivious.
Idea for a Two and a Half Men episode. An alternate take on the episode "Repeated Blows to His Unformed Head" where Berta's heavily pregnant daughter Naomi shows up at the house to clean, except in this version her unborn baby can physically talk.
"Hailey's On It!" - "Midwife Hailey" Beta reminds Hailey that one of her list items is "Help deliver a baby". Nevertheless, Hailey must complete it... somehow. Hailey and Scott end up in an elevator with single-mom-to-be Marsha who claims that she is due in a week. This turns out to be wrong and she goes into later, forcing Hailey and Scott to help deliver Marsha's baby.

Professor: "Yeah, I just needed a place to... what are you guys staring at?" Hailey: "You're pregnant!" Scott: "Like really pregnant!" Professor: "Huh? Oh yeah, I got knocked up." Hailey: "I didn't even know you were married." Scott: "Who's the lucky guy?" Professor: "I'm not married! I'm carrying this for someone! Why are you guys shocked? You've seen me pregnant before, haven't you?" Hailey: "Nope." Scott: "Never." Professor: "Oh... right, time travel."
