How long do I need to wait before I can post the same message and files again? The JS dropped me into another thread, didn't let me return to the proper thread, and I had to delete my post because it was in the wrong thread. Now I can't remake the post even if I change the message, because the files are the same, and I can't change them. So, how long do I need to wait?

Bringing this back up because certain discussions have made it more relevant lately. I don't mean any offense, Couchy, but it'd be pretty nice to be able to post in response to something without the discussion inherently fucking flooding the front page. It would be nice to at least get some sort of info as to why it's not working.

Why are some threads disappearing? Most notably, I’ve just realized that the human birth thread 7 is not there anymore, and a few months back, the adult/mature birth thread also disappeared. Does anyone know why this is happening?

That's how image boards work. To save on storage costs, there is a finite number of threads that can be active on a board at once. Once that limit is reached, the thread that has gone longest without a post gets deleted.
